Papillon Films is focused on bringing the UAE talent together to create film that showcases life in the UAE. The creative talent born here and making their life in the UAE is growing, but the opportunities are limited. Our aim is to bring the best together and push the boundaries of film making to show that the UAE is the place to be.

Larry is a veteran stage actor, originally from London, he began writing film scripts after writing and performing several successful one-man plays. 

As a passionate film lover, Larry moved away from theatre into film after being cast in several films. Bitten by the film bug, he has gone on to write, produce and act in several short films, winning multiple awards across many international film festivals.

  A prominent Emirati actor, filmmaker, and  presenter known for his ability to move fluidly  between film, television, and radio.  He has appeared in major Hollywood  productions, earning recognition for his acting  range and professionalism. His career also  extends into broadcasting, where he’s a  familiar face on Dubai TV and a voice many  wake up to on a popular prime time morning  radio show Beat UAE. Khalid has also been active in supporting  UAE film as a producer and mentor. 

 Mehr has been acting, singing, and  performing live, since her childhood, winning  multiple awards across Asia Mehr now enjoys a growing career in scripted  film and television ranging from experimental  short films to writing her own original  screenplays, which have been officially  selected at International Film Festivals.  Mehr is also producing and directing her own  films and is often seen performing in theatre  to stay close to the arts community.
